Fire Deterrent

Paul Facchina of La Plata, Maryland, is the owner of this SUV. His son was backing a boat down a ramp when bystanders let him know that his vehicle was burning. The fire, originating near the transmission, soon engulfed the entire rig. By the time the fire department arrived the vehicle had been totally destroyed; and was "Looking like something you'd see on the back streets of Baghdad," according to Paul.

The vault contained 500 rounds of ammo, numerous articles of clothing and an aerosol can of gun cleaner. Had the ammunition or the aerosol can exploded, the danger to the attendant fire fighters would have increased exponentially.
