A few weeks back my long time friend Ron and I decided to head east of the mountains for a spring turkey hunt. Now we both know how to hunt turkeys as this is something we have done in the past but we were very unsure of where to go on this trip considering this was totally new territory. With a quick search on the internet I found Washington Fish & Game records showing where the greater turkey hunting success was had in this state, following that I e-mailed the district office for additional information. Considering a good deal of the land where we would like to go is private we felt one more step might be in order - that being to secure the services of a local guide. A trip to the Washington State Guide and Outfitters page directed me to a number of licensed outfitters where we would like to hunt. If we could spend a week or more in the area certainly we could find public property to hunt, but with just a few days to hunt why not take advantage of the professional’s knowledge? When planning any hunting expedition don’t forget the security of your firearms and expensive equipment. We at TruckVault have heard way too many horror stories from hunters who simply put firearms in soft or hard cases and left them in their locked vehicles. Smash and grab robbers recognize our vehicles and are quick to take advantage, they don’t smash and grab when you have a TruckVault. Call us today and be really prepared for your next hunting trip. We will let you know how the Turkey Hunt turns out. Regards,
