Innovation at TruckVault

Every year we strive to make our product better. Through research and customer feedback we continually upgrade and expand the TruckVault product line and available accessories.

One of our most popular accessories is the table extension. This upgrade was driven by the demise of the SUV tailgate. A customer once shared that newer rigs required his hunting dog to jump much higher in order to reach the dog box resting on top of his TruckVault. His dog had hip displasia and the leap in and out of the rig was causing his favorite friend pain - thus the table extension was born.

In-drawer map boards have also been popular. These removable surfaces rest on rails installed in the vault drawer and effectively turn your drawer into a table. We also have a "Sleeper Extension" (shown here) for short bed pickups that allows your average six-footer to get a good night's sleep in the back of a pickup.

"I forgot my combination" - in an effort to give our customers more flexibility in accessing their TruckVault we have introduced the Simplex touch combination lock with key override - now we're hoping they don't lock the keys in the drawer...

Customs, customs, customs! A large portion of our business involves creating custom solutions for our customers. We've created custom units involving the smallest lockable storage all the way up to transforming a large SUV into a portable office.

What do you think? We are currently trying to gauge our customer's interest in a biometric lock option. Our vision for this upgrade would be a lock accessed by a thumb print reader that also featured a key override. If you have comments or ideas about this or any other innovation please let us know.
