New Puppy!

     There is nothing quite like having a new puppy to keep a person active. Please meet Zachariah (Zach) Wilson Chandler. Zach is named after my great uncle Zachariah. And his middle name is taken from my very active 4-year-old grandson Charles Wilson Mosier.

     Happy Chandler has now accepted Zach, and I am sure they will be good pals and hunting companions for some years to come. Zach was acquired from Jim and Maxine Fulks of Coyote Creek Retrievers near Eugene, Oregon. Happy came from Coyote Creek as well. She has been such a great dog. Why would I want to look anywhere else?

     These dogs are very athletic, smart and easy to train. That is important for me. Happy is now 6 years old. She can teach Zach a great deal and already has. When it comes to upland or waterfowl hunting, Happy is a master. And I am sure Zach will follow with the same attributes. He will get his first exposure to wild birds this fall.
