Fellow Sportsmen,
Crossing the Missouri River in the badlands of northern Montana isn't as easy as just driving over a bridge. Grace Sanford runs the McClelland Ferry which serves as a link for residents in southern Blaine and northern Fergus counties. Roads leading to the ferry from either side are not passable during rain or snow as the roadway is very steep and not graveled. The ground in the area is loaded with bentonite and becomes incredibly slick with the slightest moisture. Not only is it slick but it collects in the wheel wells and can completely immobilize a vehicle. Grace transports only a few vehicles each day from April to October. The rest of the year or when conditions are wet, travelers must take a very long trip around to reach the other side.
"The Outdoorsman" is TruckVault's new project vehicle. And, of course, it has all the latest backcountry accessories necessary to carry you and your adventure gear to the most remote places on earth.. and get you back. It's outfitted with more accessories than we have room to mention here including a TruckVault and SeatVault. Click here to go directly to the page within our web site for more images and complete listing of accessory vendors with contact information. The Outdoorsman has already attracted tremendous attention at several national public safety exhibitions and will be returning to more rugged backcountry hunting in northern Montana in early November.
Does your four-footed hunting pal need a new dog box? For a limited time, get a free cover when you order one of our medium or large wire mesh dog boxes. My dog, Happy, likes the added warmth it provides on cold winter days.
