Beware of Flying Objects

Just yesterday I was speaking with a one of our customers, a Police Chief in Florida who related a story to me involving his son. Three years ago his son, a SWAT Officer with a neighboring Sheriff Department, was driving his Expedition in a pursuit situation when he encountered a critter on the road. Swerving to miss the animal the big rig rolled over several times. His son’s leg was severely injured as the door flew open and the vehicle passed over it. This was his only injury other than the normal bumps and bruises. This officer was protected from flying potentially hazardous items because these dangerous missiles were secure in his TruckVault. The good news is his son has fully recovered from his injuries and is back in service packing some steel in his leg.
