So when our TRUNKVault™ secure storage system product line was recently selected as the "Safety Product of the Year" in the Shooting Industry's annual Academy Of Excellence Awards, we were ecstatic! This prestigious award was presented at the National Rifle Association's banquet culminating their annual conference and exposition in Pittsburgh, PA.

TruckVault first developed the TrunkVault line of products for the Ford Crown Victoria "Interceptor" used by law enforcement officers and quickly added models for the Taurus, Chevy Impala, and Dodge Intrepid. These locking storage drawer vaults mount in the top rear of the trunk cavity and allow access without having to remove other items from the trunk. The TRUNKVault's popularity among law enforcement professionals has spread to sport and competition shooters, traveling sales reps, and many private security agencies.

The Shooting Industry Academy Of Excellence Awards annually honor companies, products and individuals who best represent excellence within the shooting industry. Voting Academy members include key industry leaders representing every level of the shooting sports business. TruckVault® won the "Accessory of the Year" division of these awards in 1999 for its secure storage systems in the cargo areas of SUVs, pickups and vans.
