Effective
incident control requires efficient coordination of professional manpower and
equipment. Establishment of a communications command post near the incident location
quickly focuses and coordinates all team member efforts for swift and decisive
control. Although our TruckVault
Command Center product line is constantly expanding to meet customer demand,
a couple of our earlier models continue to be extremely popular and deserve revisiting.
The
Chief
was our original model that went through six redesigns before going to market
after evaluations by police and fire personnel . That kind of scrutiny and attention
to detail has made all our models star performers in the field, but the Chief
unit has become a versatile work horse. The Chief adapts to a variety of vehicles
from the smaller SUVs like the Explorer or S-10 Blazer to full size Tahoes, Expeditions,
Suburbans and Pickups. The multiple locking drawer sizes are ideal for small accessories,
large operations binders and even weaponry.
The
Captain
has also been very popular and incorporates a few different features. The logistics
board is downsized; a cabinet replaces a file drawer; two smaller accessory drawers
are stacked beside the cabinet, and; a huge locking drawer securely stores bulkier
gear at the bottom of the command unit. All drawers and cabinets have keyed locks,
and the top surface of the logistics board drawer easily accommodates a laptop
computer. Visit the TruckVault
website to view our standard command center models and call toll free (800-967-8107)
