Hello,
We've just wrapped up a busy August schedule of exhibiting at the National Technical Investigators (NATIA) conference in Memphis, the national Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) convention in Phoenix and the TREXPO Enforcement Technology exposition in Chantilly, VA. It's always great for me to escape from my normal roll of business manager and reconnect with our customer base at trade shows. It's even more satisfying to watch them enthusiastically demonstrate our products for their friends in our exhibit booth. Thanks again to all of you who stopped by our booths.
We're seeing more departments supplementing their motor pools with SUVs for special operations. They're also quick to equip them with a TruckVault to improve the vehicles' capabilities of transporting secure and bulk cargo. This Expedition 2-drawer unit is an ideal example of a TruckVault's versatility.
We've mentioned before that reorder sales continue to grow, but didn't mention that many times entire fleets of replacement vehicles are being equipped with a TruckVault. The Crown Victoria TrunkVault is, not surprisingly, the most popular product to be added to a department's patrol cruisers. Officers tell us they don't know how they got along without one before.
Our new SeatVaults continue to grow in popularity as managers are incorporating a few more full-size pickups into their fleets for jobs that require more cargo capacity. SeatVault provides in-cab secure storage for extended cab Chevrolet/GMC and Ford SuperCab pickups. These locking drawer units also work extremely well for securing weapons and ammunition just behind the driver underneath the rear bench seat.
Best regards,
